The creator economy meets travel. AI-powered journaling turns your itinerary into a story, and your story into a revenue stream. Trepic exists because technology should make travel more human, not more efficient.

The premise

Trepic began with a simple question: what if the stories we tell about our travels could reshape how we experience them? We believe travel is a practice — of intention, presence, and connection — and we are building the tools to honor that. The world has enough drone footage of infinity pools. It has enough top-ten lists pasted across affiliate pages. What it does not have is a place where the people who actually went somewhere — who lingered long enough to notice the rhythm of a town, the second-best restaurant, the staff member who remembered their order — can be paid honestly to share that, and where the people planning a future trip can read it without algorithmic distortion.

Three audiences, one platform

Trepic connects three groups whose interests have been quietly aligned all along. Travelers want considered trips and trustworthy recommendations. Creators want a real income stream tied to the work they already do. Boutique hotels want distribution that does not reduce them to a thumbnail and a star rating. The platform is the connective tissue — long-form editorial dispatches that double as bookable itineraries, with commission flowing to the writer when a reader books a stay they recommended.

Commission, honestly

Creators on Trepic earn up to 20% commission on bookings driven by their stories, paid monthly via the platform. There are four tiers — Storyteller, Pro Storyteller, Elite Storyteller, and Founding Creator — with rates rising based on verified read-time and conversion history. We measure what matters: did someone read the dispatch through, and did they book? Not impressions, not vanity engagement, not follower counts. Founding-cohort creators have their rate locked for life.

Hotel partnerships, performance-priced

Boutique hotels join Trepic in one of two tiers — Founding Partner (a limited cohort with full creator-network access) or Featured Property. Hotels are featured as bookable stops within real creator dispatches, and pricing is performance-based: hotels pay for read-through bookings, not impressions. Regional exclusivity is available so the platform does not become a paid marketplace where the highest bidder wins.

Black, white, gold — and a refusal to oversell

Our design language is deliberately quiet. Cormorant Infant for the editorial voice, Inter for the workhorse copy, a single accent gold (#b28b43). We are uninterested in adding another layer of urgency, gamification, or notification noise to your travel planning. The goal is the opposite: to give you fewer, better, more honest signals. Travel once, remember forever.

Where we are now

Trepic is in its founding cohort. The first issues of Trepic Stories are live, founding creators are publishing dispatches, and the boutique-hotel partner network is being built one property at a time.
