Long-form travel writing from people who actually went.

The creator economy meets travel. AI-powered journaling turns each creator's itinerary into a beautifully formatted story, and that story into your next trip. Trepic Stories publishes quarterly issues — long-form dispatches, slow itineraries, hotels worth returning to.

What we publish

Trepic Stories runs on a quarterly cadence. Each issue collects long-form essays from the founding-creator cohort, organized loosely around a theme — a season, a region, a way of moving through a place. We are uninterested in service journalism that reads like a press release. We are interested in pieces with a point of view: the dish that made the trip, the morning that did not go as planned, the second-best museum, the staff member whose name the writer remembered. Real reporting from real travel.

Why long-form

Because travel deserves more than a thumbnail. Because the question "is this place worth going to?" is answered better by 2,400 honest words than by a star rating. Because long-form writing is also the format that converts: readers who finish a dispatch are the readers who book. The creator earns commission — up to 20% — when that booking happens. The reader gets a real itinerary. The hotel gets a guest who knows what they are walking into. Everyone benefits when the writing is honest and the reading is unhurried.

Sample dispatches

Giraffe Manor, Nairobi

The most photographed breakfast on the planet — and what the photographs miss. The history of the property, the conservation case, and a frank assessment of whether it earns its rate.

Aman Resorts — mindful luxury

A working theory of the Aman ethos: pace, restraint, the architecture of staying longer in fewer places. With notes on the properties to start with and the ones to skip.

Cadence

One issue per quarter. Each issue stays live forever. Older issues do not disappear behind a paywall; the archive is part of the value. Subscribers receive each issue by email on publication day; everything is also free to read on the site. We will never gate dispatches.
